Square dancing is also known as Modern Western Square Dance, Folk Dance, Barn Dance, Scottish Country Dance, and Irish Set Dance. For many cosplayers, this is the ultimate goal. When that happens, it is magic, as if the character has jumped out of the screen and into reality. I only like to dress up at places where I am hired to dress up at or where it is appropriate, like a convention.
